Ahh, the Mclaren F1. Set the world speed record for a road legal production car at 240 mph, and no one was able to break that record for as long as a whole decade, even with the advancing technology. Well, that's talking about the standard '95 Mclaren F1 anyway (in fact, it's the prototype of the '95 F1). This, however, is the more advanced '97 F1 GTR.

They added a huge rear spoiler (pretty evident from the picture) which added loads of downforce to the rear. The effects? Lower top speed, faster accceleration, and better handling. So yes, this thing won't be taking you up to 240 like the standard version, but this will give you a more exotic ride. The sad thing is, the chances of you seeing a Mclaren F1 on the road are smaller than seeing a purple cow floating over your garden, nevermind seeing the rarer Mclaren F1 GTR. Good luck on your hunts if you're that desperate. >_>

To be honest, this looks nice but I'd rather take the Mclaren F1 LM. That LM in the British International Motor Show looked just way too amazing for a road car. Why didn't I draw that? Probably because from the angle shown there isn't much of a difference anyway, and I thought of picking the more powerful version of the car to display.
